Seatrade: Pride of America Not Sold

Seatrade Insider News reports that Star Cruises has not yet succeeded in re-selling the 77,104 GT, 2,002-berth Pride of Aloha, which will be delivered to it from NCL next month. According to its source, Star is asking $320 million for the ship, valued at $340 million in financial statements, and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. [...]

Sovereign of the Seas to Pullmantur - Official

Royal Caribbean has announced that, as indicated by the 2008 Pullmantur advance brochure released last week (click here to download pdf), Sovereign of the Seas will be leaving the Royal Caribbean fleet to join Spanish sister company Pullmantur.

Pullmantur Cruises‘ 2008 advance brochure (click here to download PDF) shows Sovereign (with a photo of Royal Caribbean’s Sovereign of the Seas) as a new member of the fleet. Pullmantur Cruises 2008 Itineraries & Fleet

Pullmantur Cruises has announced its itineraries and fleet line-up for 2008:
Oceanic will continue her massively popular “Brisas del Mediterraneo” itinerary, with round-trip 7-night cruises from Barcelona to Villefranche, Livorno, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples and La Goulette (Tunis).

Royal Caribbean Announces CDF Croisières de France

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd has announced a new cruise line aimed at the French market, CDF Croisières de France. The new company will begin operations in May 2008 with Bleu de France, currently Pullmantur Cruises‘ Holiday Dream.
