Clipper Group Buys Cape Twins

Louis Buys Norwegian Dream and Norwegian Majesty

Louis Cruise Lines parent Louis plc has purchased the 50,764 GT, 1,742-berth Norwegian Dream and 40,876 GT, 1,462-berth Norwegian Majesty from Star Cruises for $218 million and $162 million respectively. Seatrade: Pride of America Not Sold

Seatrade Insider News reports that Star Cruises has not yet succeeded in re-selling the 77,104 GT, 2,002-berth Pride of Aloha, which will be delivered to it from NCL next month. According to its source, Star is asking $320 million for the ship, valued at $340 million in financial statements, and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. [...]

Clipper Pearl to Replace Peace Boat’s The Topaz? - UPDATED

Seatrade Insider reports that Peace Boat has chartered the 22,945 GT, 1,258-berth Clipper Pearl from International Shipping Partners. According to the report, the ship will be renamed Clipper Pacific and, following the refit she is currently undergoing in Turkey, will sail to Yokohama in May.

Clipper Group and ISP Take Delivery of Clipper Pearl

Danish shipowner Clipper Group and its partner, Miami-based International Shipping Partners, have taken delivery of the Clipper Pearl, the former Dream, Dream Princess, Sundream and Song of Norway.
