Costa Luminosa’s Keel Laid

Fincantieri’s Marghera yard in Venice has laid the keel of Costa Cruises’ latest ship, Costa Luminosa. The 92,700 GT, 2,260-berth ship will be the first in a new class for Costa. First Costa Pacifica Section Arrives in Genoa

The 127-meter long first section of Costa Crociere’s latest ship, Costa Pacifica, which left Palermo last month, has now arrived at Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente yard in Genoa where the new ship is being built.
The 114,500 GT ship will enter service in Spring 2009 and is a sister ship to Costa Concordia and Costa Serena.
