Sadly, contrary to very strong rumors mentioned in my earlier Bermuda post, Celebrity subsidiary Azamara Cruises will not return to Bermuda in 2008.Instead, both Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey will operate in Europe during the summer 2008 season.

Bermuda For 2008
Now that Azamara Journey is off on her first cruise to Bermuda, let’s take a look at the Bermuda offerings for summer 2008.
Azamara has in fact not announced its 2008 summer program, but according to travel agents, Bermuda itineraries for Journey are already in Azamara/Celebrity’s reservations system; the sailings just haven’t opened for booking yet. [...]

Azamara Delay Update 2
According to Cruise Critic, the reason for Azamara Journey’s delayed departure this weekend was essentially to get rid of all the junk that is left on board a ship after a refit:

Azamara Delay Update
According to several Cruise Critic Message Boards members, the Azamara Journey departed Bayonne today a bit after 11 AM.
It will be interesting to hear what was wrong with the ship that precluded her from departing everything. I’ll post here as soon as I find out.

Azamara Maiden Delayed
Members on the Cruise Critic Message Boards booked on yesterday’s Azamara Journey maiden voyage are reporting that the ship did not sail, and is scheduled to sail today, a day late, instead.
They have apparently had the price of their cruise refunded for the inconvenience.
