Oceania Cruises has revealed further details about its pair of new ships being built at Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente shipyard, which will enter service in 2010 and 2011. The 1,252-berth, 66,000 GT ships will incorporate many design elements that have become popular on Oceania’s existing ships, including popular public areas like Martinis, Horizons, the Grand Bar, the Library and the Lobby with its sweeping grand staircase and restaurants including Polo Grill, Toscana, the Grand Dining Room and the Terrace Café.

New features will include a culinary arts center, private dining rooms, wine cellar and Asian and French specialty restaurants. The ship will feature an expanded range of suites and cabins, 96% with private balconies. The Norwegian architectural firm Yran & Storbraaten is handling the design of all public areas and passenger accommodations.
