Delta Queen in The New York Times

Today’s issue of The New York Times features an article about Majestic America Line’s 81-year old Delta Queen, set to be retired after her 2008 season due to Congress’ refusal to continue her exemption to the Safety at Sea Act of 1966, which would ban her due to her wooden superstructure.

Seabourn Introduces Odyssey Web Site

Queen Victoria on Cruise Critic

Cruise Critic editor Carolyn Spencer Brown visited Cunard’s new Queen Victoria at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard in Venice, where she’s being fitted out, and brings back great photos and videos of the newest addition to the Cunard fleet.
Cunard’s Carol Marlow also confirmed that Queen Elizabeth will be a sister of Victoria and “more similar than different”.

Sovereign of the Seas to Pullmantur - Official

Royal Caribbean has announced that, as indicated by the 2008 Pullmantur advance brochure released last week (click here to download pdf), Sovereign of the Seas will be leaving the Royal Caribbean fleet to join Spanish sister company Pullmantur.
