One of the more interesting ships to be reviewed by Cruise Critic recently is Imperial Majesty Cruise Line’s Regal Empress.
Ocean liner enthusiasts, of course, need little encouragement to sail this 54-year-old ship, but the article does a nice job of describing her charms to a more mainstream audience.
To my shame, I haven’t sailed in her yet (!), but it is something I certainly hope to do before she retires. There certainly aren’t many (any?) other ships left like this!

I’m so glad you mentioned the Regal Empress on your blog. I’ve just posted the first member review to Cruise Critic of this ship…it’s definitely not for everyone but I appreciate its vintage charm.
